Today's a much better day:)...........

If you read my last few blogs, you'll know that I had a rough night Thursday night because I sat on two large strawberry shakes from Steak N Shake. But that's all past us now. I really did enjoy my sons musical that evening BEFORE the strawberry shake incident. It was based on a "Music Machine" and they sang lots of groovy songs based on peace, love, patience, all that cool stuff. It was kind of funky too, like the 60's and 70's kind of groove and they even danced around a bit. It was very cute! Cristian is in fourth grade. He is eating lucky charms. Soon after he is done eating he will get on his computer and space out for a while on a game. That is his favorite thing to do and it is like pulling teeth getting him off the computer. Lately, I've had to give him limits on that computer or else he would be on there 24 hours a day. He is currently doing this reading thing for school, where you read a certain amount every day. At the end, he will get to go to a movie with his school friends. So, he will be doing some reading today.
Today's a MUCH better day. I woke up and read a bit in the current book I'm reading "The Eye of the Needle" by Ken Follett. Really, really good reading. Now I'm up drinking Java and watching "Flavor of Love", although I don't usually watch it. I'm flicking through the channels wishing a new episode of "The Hills" was on. I love reality TV. I really like "Big Brother". I love that show! So useless and meaningless. It's great entertainment after a day at the treatment center where I work. Just some clean, mindless entertainment for when I don't want to think anymore. I think I would do good on that show. Maybe I'll go to a casting for Big Brother, lol......
I really want to be productive today, though, and get some cleaning done, some jewelry making done (have recently purchased a TON of beautiful new beads and am itching to make some jewelry, and maybe take a nice walk. My DH (darling husband) Chris has been begging me to take a walk for the past few weeks, but I have been so lazy. I really do need a brand new pair of tennies for walking. But in the meantime, I suppose I could take a stroll around the block............

That kid of mine...

is LUCKY that I care about whether or not he has expensive therapy bills when he gets older! That is why he is still alive this evening...

I'm looking forward to cleaning the shake out of the car tomorrow...

OH...one more thing...maybe two

Keep in mind that I NEVER indulge in a strawberry shake from Steak N Shake! And I am on my period and have cramps that have me bending over...

I got one for you...

Ok, so I go to my 10 year old sons School Spring Concert this evening and it's really cool; lots of hip songs, silly string everywhere, and lots of bubbles. So since no one wants to cook, I go by Steak and Shake for a quick dinner and indulge Chris and I each in a large strawberry shake. On the way home, OOPS, we realize Cristians coat is still at the school. Off to the school we go. I leave him in the car and pound on the window. They let me in, I get the coat, and as I'm coming out, Cristian is at the door of the school, no big deal. We get in the car..............guess what? I sit on TWO LARGE STRAWBERRY SHAKES! The child had put them on my seat! Ok, so I am PISSED OFF beyond belief, but I don't cuss or scream. Seriously, I got shake ALL over the place and the car seat is ruined; shake is every freakin' where! I put his coat and another coat on the seat until I get home. Everything is sticky and I am grumpy as hell. So much for a shake...............

Lazy Days.......

So, I was hoping to get some things accomplished today, but it just didn't happen. I am really lazy and tired and cranky. Ahhh, could it be PMS? Yep, I think that's it. Can't get along with my DH or anyone else, lol. Seems like since friday, I've been feeling pretty cranky. Hmmmmm. What's a girl to do? I think I may go take a walk or beg someone for some Midol.............................................

books, books, books

It's been a REALLY lazy day today in the Kruskop household. I told myself I was going to clean house, make some jewelry, play in the Hive, and numerous other constructive things and the only thing I've done is play in the Hive and look at books on Barnes N Noble.
It's a well known fact that I am obsessed with books. Currently, I am reading "Eye of the Needle" by Ken Follett and it is a very good read. He's the author of "Pillars of the Earth", which has got to be the best book I've read by far. But of course there are many other books to read, lol. Today, I was looking at some classic books. I really love the classics and own many of the hardback Barnes N Noble classics. The next one I would like to read is "War and Peace". Like my friend Hannah says, the classics are like a foreign language because they can be difficult to read. I suppose that is why I like them; they are a challenge. Well, that, and the fact that they are GOOD books. I guess that is why they call them classics..............

Hello and welcome to my blog.........

I decided I would join the "craze" of blogging and start my own blog. I have a lot of friends with blogs and I do read them. Who knows, I may post some interesting facts or I may just go on and on about meaningless stuff. Either way, it's sure to be interesting, even if I'm the only one reading it! I'm an interesting kind of person, lol. Stay tuned...........
